The RURAL EDUCATION SOCIETY
Presently there are 11 institutions run by the RES. 09 institutions are in the sprawling campus of 21.5 acres of the Rural Education Society in Kanakapura and the other 2 institutions are in Sathanuru. The present management in headed by Sri K.B.Nagaraju. He is leading a 14 member team of dedicated people who are supportive and co-operative and are striving hard to achieve the goals set by the founder of the institutions.
The Rural College Kanakapura was founded in 1955 by Poojya Sri. S.Kariyappa
The Rural Girls High school was started in June 1955 by poojya Sri.S .Kariappa
The Dayananda Vasathi Vidyalaya was started in June 1955 by poojya Sri.S .Kariappa
The Rural Teachers Training Institutewas started in June 1955 by poojya Sri.S .Kariappa
