73rd Republic Day was celebrated at the Rural college Kanakapura
The 73rd Republic Day was celebrated at the Rural college Kanakapura with great fervour and devotion .The 9th Kar Bn 2pl/1coy, 3pl/1coy NCC cadets (104) Of The college and RMPHS cadets (30)took the centre stage in making arrangements. Sri Nagaraju KB President of RES delivered The Republic Day address and hoisted The tricolour on the occasion. The Honble Chief Guest received the salute from the cadets who performed a fine marchpast reviewed by the invitees. The cadets also participated in the Republic Day flag hoisting function organized by the Taluk administration at the MHS Grounds where also they conducted a fine marchpast.

Rural College Kanakapura 2pl/1 coy & 3pl/1 coy & RMPHS JD NCC affiliated 9th KAR BN NCC Bangalore ‘ B ‘. We had celebrated a 153rd Gandhi jayanthi and lal bahadur shasthri jayanthi in our college primesis. Our respected principal Dr M Govindappa addressed this gathering by their inspirational speech. Our Rural B.ed college students had done a bhajana session on behalf of these function. Our hounarable Dr. Parthasarathi, Lt. Vijendra sir has spoken about the great thoughts and the moves of Gandhiji in this session. This program has been successfully done with the presence of our hounarable, RES President Sri K B Nagaraju sir, all the beloved students of DVV RGHS, RMPHS, Rural PU college and their faculties along with our all HOD’S and faculities of rural degree college with non teaching staff.
Our cadets distributed fruits, buns and juice to the inmates of orphanage at Degula mutt, Govt Hospital, Cheshire home and oldage home at Kanakapura on Gandhi jayanthi day. President of the Degula mutt Swamiji, RES President Sri K B Nagaraju, Directors of RES, RCK Principal Dr M Govindappa, PU College Principal Gadigappa Hittalamani. Dr. Manjunath, Dr. Thammannagowda, Prakash A P HOD of Geograpy and NSS Officer, Dr. Appagi, Third officer Manjunath RMPHS, Sudhakar Dept of Botany, ex seniors and cadets participated in the visit. Lt. Vijendra lead the programme.
NSS Camp
From 14-07-2022 to 20/07/2022
Camp place: Vaadedoddi village, Allimaranahalli panchayats, kasaba hobli, Kanakapura taluk, Ramanaga district.
Camp was beautifully organised by Prof.A.P.Prakasha, NSS officer, and HOD Dept. Of Geography by the support of our beloved principal Dr.M.Govindappa.
Camp was organised for about 7 days.
All the 7days NSS Volunteers worked hard for the cleaning & development of the camp site.

Date:17/07/2022 Special lecture programme on the topic Yoga & meditation
Evening: Law awareness programme. & Short drama by our students and staff.
Date:18/07/2022 Planting programme Supported: Forest Department, Kanakapura.
Evening:Sericulture & Agriculture information programme.
Date:19/07/2022 Free health checkup and medicine distribution programme
Evening: Cultural events. Presided by Prof.Devaraju, cultural committee convenor, HOD, Department of sociology.

Honble Chief Guest received the salute from the cadets who performed a fine marchpast reviewed by the invitees.Honourable Vice president ML shivakumar, Secretory C Ramesh Treasurer Puttaswamigowda, All the Head Masters, physical education directors, teaching and non teaching staffs of Institution.
All cadets are participated in the independence Day flag hoisting function organized by the Taluk administration at the MHS Ground where also they conducted a fine marchpast, Ravi MLC , Vishwanath Tahsildar Kanakapura was chief guest . Lt. Vijendra MJ, Lt.Indu S ,First officer Manjunath K M were over all incharge of the proceedings.
On account of Amrit Mahotsav our staff along with NCC unit planted plant samples in the campus premises.
