HEALTH AWARNESS PROGRAM

Our Rural Degree College, NSS in association with District Tobacco Control Board Organised a programme on lecturing & Health awareness programme on the topic ‘The effects of consuming tobacco’ on 26-08-2021 The programme was presided by Sri K.B.Nagaraju President of RES. The programme was inaugurated by Dr.Nandini thaluk health officer, in the presence of Honerable chief guest Sri C.Ramesh secretary RES, Dr.Govindappa Principal Rural College, Prof.Nanjundaiah Vice principal Rural College, Sri Chandrashekar personal consultant, Speakers for the session: Dr.Kiran shankar District Surveillance officer, Dr Madhu S Mutt District advisor, Tobacco control Board Ramnagara, Sri Puttaswamy senior Health Inspector. On behalf of this programme, we had conducted an essay competition on the above related topic on 25-08-2021 & we distributed prizes for the winners in this Occassion. HOD’s & Faculties of several departments, Students & NSS valunteers attended the programme.

National Cancer awareness day Programme

Our college NSS unit organised cancer awareness programme on 08-11-2021.

    Our college NSS unit in association with other Arts departments has celebrated Constitution Day of India on 26-11-2021. The programme was lead by Prof.A.P Prakash, NSS officer & HOD Dept.
